SpaceX simply shared some gorgeous footage of planet Earth from the second stage of its workhorse Falcon 9 rocket. The video exhibits Earth as a tiny blue marble, spinning in the midst of a black expanse.
The ocean, clouds and land are clearly seen from 1000’s of miles away, and the video remembers the long-lasting view of Earth from the Apollo 17 mission in 1972.
The footage was captured throughout SpaceX’s March 17 mission to deploy the Northrop Grumman-built SES-18 and SES-19 telecommunications satellites that can present C-band tv and knowledge companies throughout the U.S.
The video was shot from the second stage of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket because it carried the satellites to a geosynchronous switch orbit.

Astronauts on board the Worldwide Area Station frequently ship again placing views of earth, nevertheless, at 250 miles up, these are a lot nearer photographs than this one. That distance is simply too shut to indicate the spherical view of our planet like this footage does.
