Sharp Brief Dance is a one-of-a-kind Australian youth dance competition unearthing the best younger dancers and choreographers from Sydney and past.

The competition offers a uncommon platform for aspiring choreographers and dancers, 21 years and underneath to show their works in a supportive setting. Sharp Brief Dance conjures up younger performers to attempt for creative excellence and actively engages dance artists in all genres and media of dance.

LIVE
Over three heats entrants carry out in knowledgeable theatre setting mentored by FORM’s creative producer. A panel of business professionals invite the very best works to take part within the last, vying for precious business awards and secondments.

FILM
Since 2020 dance movies have grow to be a key characteristic of Sharp Brief Dance. Dance movies are introduced on FORM’s web site the place audiences are invited to vote for his or her favorite work. Movies chosen for the ultimate are equally eligible for business awards and secondments.
