Vladislav Yeliseyev combines his passions for plein air portray and watercolor to create dynamic pictures that give the viewer glimpses of avenue scenes in Paris and Dubrovnik; the altering mild of New Mexico; the seasons of Vermont; the boats of Zaton and Venice. How pretty to tour the world with the energetic strokes of a grasp watercolorist! Yeliseyev wrote to us about his childhood in Russia, his background in structure and the inspiration of Rembrandt.
My mom served as an economist inside a big Soviet socialist company, whereas my father pursued a profession as an engineer. Regardless of their skilled backgrounds, artwork wasn’t a focus of their lives. Nonetheless, they held a deep admiration for artists who embodied a way of freedom, significantly on the inventive entrance, not like the tens of millions of employees entrenched within the Soviet Union’s system.
Rising up, my mother and father had been acutely aware of the challenges their baby confronted being uncovered to the realities of the streets. In response, they wholeheartedly supported my schooling on the night artwork college, which turned a cornerstone of my childhood routine after common college hours.
