Lyle, who joined Bikini Kill’s touring band in 2019, has delivered “Sympoiesis” and a canopy of Black Sabbath’s “Conflict Pigs” as the primary previews of SYMPOIESIS, a brand new album that may see all proceeds from pre-orders donated to Atlanta Forest Defenders.
SYMPOIESIS will comply with Lyle and Vice Cooler’s 2022 LAND TRUST profit album, which featured Kathleen Hanna, Kim Gordon, The Raincoats, The Linda Lindas and plenty of extra.
Based on Bandcamp, Lyle “recorded and edited at dwelling from New Moon 1/21/23 to the Full Moon 2/5/23,” and it encompasses a “mixture of dwell improv and composition created from improv loops.”
BrooklynVegan reviews that Lyle stated of the album: “I performed in Atlanta Forest in October and the autonomous zone the protesters had created there collectively felt actually lovely.
